Iran’s Defense Minister Slams Int’l Silence on Israeli Crimes
“Unfortunately, we are not witnessing an appropriate reaction from international organizations to the crimes of the Zionist regime,” General Nasirzadeh said, speaking in a phone call with his Syrian counterpart.
It is a divine pledge that Hezbollah (the party of God) will achieve victory over the party of Satan, which is symbolized by the Israeli regime today, he stated.
He also highlighted the commonalities between Iran and Syria and hailed Syria’s support for the axis of resistance.
“The two countries’ cooperation should continue and this cooperation will undoubtedly lead to the defeat of the Zionist regime,” he stated.
The Iranian defense minister further reiterated the Islamic Republic’s support for Syria’s security and respect for its territorial integrity.
Syrian Defense Minister General Ali Mahmoud Abbas, for his part, congratulated General Nasirzadeh on recently becoming Iran’s defense minister and said Damascus seeks development of ties with Tehran.

He appreciated Iran’s support for Syria and its security and stressed the need for expanding bilateral cooperation.
He also deplored the Israeli regime’s crimes in the Gaza Strip, Syria and elsewhere amid the international community’s silence, saying cooperation between Tehran and Damascus will further strengthen them against the bullying axis.
